Lois Brand December 17 1933 April 2 2019

Lois Brand (nee Heyworth) age 85, of Amherst, passed away peacefully Tuesday April 2nd, 2019 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont. She was born and raised in England, a proud survivor of the German Blitz on London in 1940-1. She later moved to America and lived most of her life in North Ridgeville before moving to Vermilion and ultimately settling in Amherst 19 years ago. She enjoyed her pet dog (Susie), reading and visiting with her neighbors at Westwood Mobile Home Park. She is survived by two grandchildren, Jamie Radel of Maumee and Travis Brand of Amherst, 5 great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters back in England. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Fred Brand in 1979, her son, Fred Brand in 2014 and her mother, Bertha Heyworth in England. Private interment will take place next to her husband at Elmhurst Park Cemetery, Avon. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Lois Brand please visit our Sympathy Store.
