Obituary of Leonard Semeraro Leonardo Semeraro, age 92, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Leonard was born October 20, 1926 in Stigliano, Italy the son of the late Giuseppe and Angela (Antonucci) Semeraro. He was employed as a Carpenter for United Overhead Doors, he was also the owner/proprietor of Landau-Semeraro and also worked for Crestwood Apartments. Beloved husband of the late Nazzarena. Devoted father of Angela (Anthony) Verini, Leonard (Jacqulyn) Semeraro Jr. and the late Joseph (Mary) Semeraro. Cherished grandfather of Dawn and Christopher Verini, Tracie Martinez, Patrick Semeraro and Andrew and Nicole Semeraro. Leonardo was also a great grandfather to several loving great grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday from 4PM to 8PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 499 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Friday at 10:00 at St. Ann Church, Midland Ave. & Smart Ave., Yonkers. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange County in her memory.
