Laura Marie Kolb October 3 1929 January 25 2019

Laura’s Obituary Laure Marie (Manley) Kolb, 89, passed away on January 25, 2019. She was born on October 3, 1929 to the late James Patrick and Lorena Manley. She attended Ursuline Academy and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Laura was first and foremost a caregiver. She gave selflessly of herself to care for her husband, in-laws and children, always putting their needs first without thought of herself. She loved to cook and was an expert pie maker. Laura would often wake early to bake coffee cakes and homemade biscuits for elderly friends in her neighborhood. A proud Irish Catholic, she never held a bad thought about anyone her entire life. She loved and was loved deeply by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank E. Kolb and siblings, Dorothy Stone and Robert L. Manley. Left to cherish her memory are children Sue Ann, Deborah and Mike (Joan) Kolb, grandsons, Tyler and Nolan and beloved cat, Tigger. Visitation Tuesday 2-8 p.m. Bosse Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:00 a.m. St. James Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery. The family would like to thank Hosparus of Louisville and the staff at Nazareth Home Clifton for caring for Mom with love and compassion. Read More
