Lance Alan Schumaker, Jr., 38, of Greensburg passed away Friday, April 26, 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Monday, November 3, 1980, in Sarasota, Florida, the son of the late Lance Alan Schumaker, Sr., and Nancy Lou Mote Schumaker-Houle. He was employed as a waiter at Pizza Sienna in Greensburg. Lance loved his family, loved socializing and had many friends. He was an avid baseball fan and followed the Cubs. He was also a Chicago Bears fan. He will always be remembered for his baseball expertise and his ability to give you stats on any player or any team in the league. In a short period of time here on earth, Lance touched many people and will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by his mother, Nancy, and step father Michael H. Houle of Hobart, Indiana, his step mother Joyce H. Schumaker, of Greensburg, four sisters, Jodi Daw and her husband, Luke, of Hobart, Indiana, Erin Shawley and her husband, Ryan, of Greensburg, Malynda Schumaker of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Bethany Schumaker of Greensburg and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted in both Greensburg and St. Augustine, Florida.
