Kentana Kenny Rudd 1957 2019

Obituary of Kentana Rudd Boonville- Kentana A. Rudd, 62, of Gulf Road, husband of Debra, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Affectionately known as “Kenny,” he was born in Constableville, on February 16, 1957, a son of John L. “Sandy” and Clara Thayer Rudd. Kenny grew up on the Rudd Family Farm, near Talcottville, and graduated from Adirondack Central School, Boonville, with the Class of 1975. While in high school, he also attended the Howard G. Sackett BOCES Center, Glenfield, where he majored in Auto Mechanics. Kenny was employed in the finishing department of Ethan Allen Furniture Co., Rome Cable, Lyons Falls Pulp & Paper Co, the Town of Leyden Highway Department, and operated a dairy farm for several years. Kenny’s last employment was as a shift supervisor for Re Energy Bio Mass Company, Lyonsdale, retiring in 2018. Kenny was united in marriage in Greig, NY, with Debra J. Beadore, on October 22, 1983. Prior to living on the Gulf Road, the couple lived on the West Road. He enjoyed restoring vintage snowmobiles, watching Nascar, classic cars and riding his Rzr with his wife, Deb and beloved dog Joey. For many years Kenny enjoyed attending to vintage snowmobile swap meets with his longtime friend, Joe Lisowski. Kenny greatly loved his family; he cherished time spent with his beloved grandchildren and “grand pup Marvin.” In addition to his beloved wife and best friend, Debra, Kenny is survived by his three beloved children; Terry (TJ) (Brandy Golden) Weiler, Jr., Douglas J. Rudd and Amanda L. Rudd, all of Boonville; four beloved grandchildren, Brett Weiler, Zachary Weiler, Chance Weiler and Kenleigh May Cummings; his siblings, Mona (Enrique) Mota, Dominican Republic, David (Irene) Rudd, Town of Leyden, Keith (Sarah) Rudd, Pearland, TX, Randy (Diane) Rudd, Constableville; step siblings, Tim (Bertha) Munn, Boonville, Gloria (Dave) Kessler, Marshville, NC, James (Carol) Munn, Town of Leyden, Melanie (Faanati) Mapuoletuli, NC; a brother in law, Paul (Melinda) Beadore, Malden, NY; sisters in law, Rhonda Less and Scott Decker, Hamburg, NY and Nancy Wendt and Dennis Hahn, Constableville and many nieces, nephews and cousins and an aunt. Kenny was predeceased by his father, John L. (Sandy) Rudd, on October 21, 1971, his mother, Clara May Thayer Rudd Munn, on August 13, 2017, his step father, Otis Munn, Jr., on February 10, 2008, by a brother, Dana J. Rudd, on June 12, 2007 and by a sister, Donna Rudd Lalone, on October 30, 2010. A Memorial Service will be Friday at 4:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where visitation hours will be from 1:00 P.M. until the service on Friday. Interment will be in Talcottville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Boxes 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101, or to the American Cancer Society, 100 Lomond Court, Utica, NY 13502.
