Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Taylor, age 69, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, served on the Lawrenceburg Police Department for over 30 years, as Sheriff for Lawrence County for 4 years, and a member of Crewstown Church of Christ. Mr. Taylor served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Pauline Rochell Taylor. He is survived by wife, Belinda Taylor of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sons, Chris Taylor (Stephanie) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Chad Taylor (Emily) of Christiana, TN; three brothers, Jerry Taylor (Sue), Jim Taylor, and Bill Taylor (Dalene), all of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sisters, Peggy Keaton (Bobby) of Lawrenceburg, TN; Patsy Carroll (Bill) of Greeneville, TN, and Shonda Eddins of Lawrenceburg, TN; four grandchildren, Owen Taylor, Bennett Taylor, Westin Taylor, and Kathryn Taylor; and one great-niece, Anna Bradbary. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, April 29, 2019, with Larry Murdock officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
