Bowers, Joseph William “Joe”, 58, was born April 6, 1961 and left his earthly home on April 27, 2019 to be present with the Lord. Joe put his trust in Jesus Christ his “Buddy”. He was a member of Shively Christian and had a very strong faith. Joe loved to work with his hands. He was a true family man that adored his family and grand kids more than anything. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Bowers and Joyce Bowers. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Melissa Sneed Bowers; son, Joey (Kyli) Bowers; daughter, Lindsey Bowers; granddaughter’s, Ada and Mirabelle Bowers and expecting a grandson in June; sister, Debbie Jones and brother, Shane Bowers; step mother, Irene Bowers and a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019, 10 a.m. at Ratterman Keenan Southwest Chapel, 4832 Cane Run Road with burial to follow in Moore Family Cemetery, Adair County, KY. Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Expressions of sympathy may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Joe.
