Reed, 52, of Chenoa, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at 12:38 p.m. at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL. His service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Joseph was born October 21, 1966 in Chicago, IL. He married Tracy (Alverson) Simpson on May 10, 2010. She survives in Chenoa, IL. Also surviving are his children, Kyle Alverson of Pontiac, IL and Courtney Alverson of Bloomington, IL; and grandchildren, Natalie, Ian, Karter, Kameron, Kaiden, Brooklynn, Shiana, Fredric, Marquis, Liyan, Emani, Kris, Jr., and Nova. He was preceded in death by his mother and one nephew, Devon Millsap. He worked as a Hoist Forklift Driver. Memorials may be made to the family.
