He was born on March 20, 1949 in Buffalo, New York, a son of Joseph L. and Catherine (Czarnecki) Alli. On March 1, 1975 he was married to Pamala Fields in Richwood, Ohio. They moved to Pekin, Illinois. Joe was a chemical engineer/plant manager for 35 years. After “retiring”, he purchased an auto repair shop which he ran for 10 years. He and his wife Pam enjoyed camping, travelling and attending their grandson’s football games. Joe’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and his beloved dogs. Joe is survived by his loving wife Pamala of 44 years, adored father of Laura (Micah) Brandt of Kentucky, Renee (Scott) Alli of Illinois and Marilyn (Nick) Alli of Michigan and grandson Joseph of Illinois. He is also survived by his brother Anthony Alli of New York state, and 2 sisters; Janice (Greg) Ferrone of New Jersey and Fran Titzler of New York state, sister in law Kim (Fields) James and brother in law Thomas James of Ohio. Also survived by several extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation for Joe will be held on Friday, April 26 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a time of remembrance at 7:30 P.M. at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Belleville 734-697-9400 . The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas a’Becket Church, 555 S. Lilley Rd. in Canton. The family will greet guests from 10:30 A.M. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Alli’s name are suggested to the Last Day Dog Rescue, P.O.
