Holden, 74, of Onondaga Hill, died Friday April 5, 2019 at Delray Medical Center Florida after a short illness. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, Mr. Holden was a graduate of Central Technical High School. He is survived by a son, Michael J. (Wannee) of Jupiter, FL; a daughter, Christine E. Masciangelo (Terence E.) of Victor, NY; brother in laws, William S. (Mary Ann) Bailey of Pittsford, NY, Martin J. (Jeanne M.) Bailey of Onondaga Hill, Thomas K. (Michele P.) Bailey of LaFayette, NY; sister in laws, Anne M. Gallo of Fort Mill SC, Margaret M. Bailey of Syracuse, 5 grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. John was predeceased by his wife Kathleen Bailey Holden, sister Shirley DeDominicis, brother in law Philip C. Bailey of LaFayette, NY, sister in law Suzanne M. and John P. Fifield of Syracuse, NY. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7pm at Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W. Seneca Tpk., Syracuse. Services: 10:15 am Saturday at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 11am at The Church of St. Michael & St. Peter. Interment Onondaga Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Helping Hounds, 6606 Kinne Road, Syracuse, NY 13214 or online to St Jude Children Hospital at www.stjude.org.
