Jimmy “Jim” Dean Shamblin, 56, of Dewey, Oklahoma, died Friday, April 19, 2019. Jim was born on March 23, 1963 in Coffeyville, Kansas to parents Jackie Joe Shamblin and Myrtle Imogene Gingery. He graduated from Wann High School then obtained his Associates degree in Engineering from Independence Community College in Independence, Kansas. Jim has worked every day of his life since graduating from high school. He has worked for Spears Manufacturing in Caney, Kansas for over twenty years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and was always a very good provider for his family. Jim is survived by his parents, Jack Shambin of Wann, Oklahoma and mother Imogene Shamblin of Coffeyville, Kansas; children Katrina Mullin of Edna, Kansas, Melody Sazama of Edna, Kansas and Shane Shamblin of Bartlesville; grandchildren Damian Shambin of Valeda, Kasnas, Warren Jungles of Mound Valley, Kansas, Jasmine Mullin of Valeda, Kansas, Vincent Mullin of Valeda, Kansas, Sawyer Sazama of Edna, Kansas and Zade Webber of Pittsburg, Kansas; siblings Jackie Shamblin, Shelia, Jerry Shambin, Jeff Shambin and several more brothers and sisters and also his long time girlfriend Rosa Clahoan of Dewey, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
