James W. Ralph, 86 of Evansville, died Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Linda E. White Hospice House. He was born September 4, 1932 in Daviess County, KY to the late James and Veronica (Stallings) Ralph. James retired from Crescent Crestline and Wabash, as supervisor of the computer department after 38 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Jim enjoyed attending Evansville Aces Basketball games, Evansville Otters Games and other sports. He was a member of the Green River Kiwanis and enjoyed quilting. He is survived by his wife, Glenda of 45 years; sons, Patrick Ralph of Phoenix , AZ, Michael Ralph of Tampa Bay, FL and Mitchel (Jennifer) Ralph of Elgin, IL; granddaughters, McKenzie Ralph of Huntsville, Al and Madison Ralph of St. Louis, MO; brother, Thomas Ralph and sister, Polly Tipton both of Owensboro, KY; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron, Evansville, IN 47714. Funeral service will begin at 10:30 am Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the funeral home and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Benedict Cathedral, 1328 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN 47714 with Father Godfrey Mullen officiating. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum Memorial Contributions may be made to University of Evansville Endowment Scholarship for Biology, 1800 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN 47722.
