James’ Obituary James Huey, 55, died Thursday, April 25, 2019 at his home. Born, March 14, 1964 in in Ellis, NJ and was the son of the late John Thexton and Lucy Elizabeth Ellis Huey. James was a 1982 graduate of Athens High School. He worked for 16 years as head of the maintenance for Motel 6 in Fayetteville. James loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and gardening. He was determined to share his love for these hobbies with his children and grandchildren. James loved to play and joke around with his friends and family. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Connie; Two loving daughters, Constance Rede and husband Nathan; Jacqueline Huey both of Fayetteville; Seven grandchildren; Loving sister, Janet Tedder and husband Mike of Beeson; The family has honored James’ request that he be cremated with services to be held at a later date.
