James Donald Hess June 15 1946 April 19 2019 (age 72)

James Donald Hess, age 72, of Woodbury passed away April 19, 2019 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was a native of Toledo, OH. Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Holmes Hess of Woodbury; Children, Jamie Hess (Ty) Brunt of Millbury, OH, Hope (Adam) Detcher of Louisiana, Shannon Phillips (John Cauldwell) of Swanton, OH, & Joshua Clement of Michigan; and a sister, Brenda Krukowski of Monclova, OH. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, & nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Joyce Simpson Hess; and sisters, Donna Daffer & Luann Hess. Mr. Hess was a member of the Plainview Baptist Church and enjoyed spending his time volunteering there. He served in the Air Force from 1964 to 1968 and was a truck driver for UPS. Funeral Services will be 7 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Plainview Baptist Church with Bro. Jonathan Womack & Bro. Charley Heath officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 7 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Plainview Baptist.
