Howard Stanley Ashcraft of Dry Ridge, Kentucky February 28, 1943 – April 18, 2019 Howard Stanley Ashcraft, 76, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away Thursday April 18, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Grant. Born in Dry Ridge, he was the son of the late Vernor Francis and Leona Blasingame Ashcraft. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Joyce Allene Jump on August 16, 1974. As a profession, he was an over-the road truck driver and welder. He also was a former employee of Gusher Pump in Dry Ridge. Survivors include two daughters: Tanya (Andre’) Hisle, Kimberly (Rodney) Cammack; one son: Lance Cammack; one sister: Barbara Ann Turner, all of Dry Ridge, KY. Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother: Warren Leroy “Bugs” Ashcraft and three sisters: Freida Sanders, Wanda Matherly and Gloria Turner. Visitation will be Tuesday April 30, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge; funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge. Memorial Contributions may be made in Howard’s memory to Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home toward the funeral expenses.
