Henry Joseph Dionne February 11 1937 April 24 2019 (age 82)

Brunswick – Henry (Bob) Dionne passed away Wednesday, April 24th at Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick after a long illness. He was born in Brunswick, Maine, February 11, 1937, the eldest of five children born to Henry and Anne (Sullivan) Dionne. Bob graduated Bridgewater Teacher’s College in 1959. There he met his wife. Virginia (Ginny). The couple wed senior year, on April 19, and spent 55 happy years together. He was a loving father to sons Ronald and Robert, grandfather to Ronald’s children Max, Kathleen, and William, and great-grandfather to Max’s daughter Joanie Bea. Bob loved two things above all in life — Maine and his beloved Ginny, and since his retirement at age 55 from a career teaching middle school English in Long Island, New York, he was able to enjoy those things to their fullest. Bob is pre-deceased by his parents, his wife Ginny, and his son Robert, and leaves behind his son Ronald and family, and his siblings Nancy Medeiros, Ellen Pihl, Alfred Dionne, Michael Dionne, and Joseph Dionne, and their families.
