Hee Soo (Peter)’s Obituary On April 3, 2019, Peter (Hee Soo) Shin, suddenly passed away at the age of 46 at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD surrounded by loved ones. For over a decade, he suffered from lupus, kidney disease, and a number of other health issues. Despite his ailments, he remained a steadfast supporter of his children and served the Lord faithfully. Peter, beloved son, husband, father, and brother was born in Seoul, South Korea on April 20, 1972. He has worked in the field of Information Technology since the age of 18 specializing in Healthcare IT. Peter owned and operated PEAC Technologies over the last 15 years. He leaves behind his wife, Karen, and three children, Matt (24), Caleb (21), and Karilyn (15). He is survived by his father and mother, Boo Young and Jong Hee, and his brothers Philip and Victor. The Shin family would like to thank the incredible medical team at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center for their care and compassion for Peter. They are very grateful for the outpouring of support from the community, and are especially comforted to know that so many people loved and were touched by Peter.
