Benson, NC: Mrs. Grace Ryals Parrish, age 85, died Friday, April 19, 2019 at Harnett Wood Nursing and Rehab in Dunn. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, April 22, 2019 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1140 B H Parrish Road, Benson, NC 27504. Rev. Tim Bass will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sugg Cemetery, Benson, NC. Mrs. Parrish was born on November 2, 1933 in Harnett County to the late Clarence and Mary Byrd Ryals. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stacy Suggs, sister, Geraldine Moore, brothers, Earl Ryals and Harold Ryals. Mrs. Parrish worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Senior Citizens Village in Dunn. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Benson, NC. Surviving include her husband of 40 years, Craig Parrish; children, Patricia Suggs Whisenand, Teresa Suggs McLean and Raymond Dale Suggs; four grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Blackwelder and a brother, Donald Ryals; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 12:30PM-1:45PM, Monday, April 22, 2019 prior to the funeral service at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Benson, NC.
