George’s Obituary CUMBERLAND George Dominov, 92, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Claire (Feeney) Dominov. Born in Swansea, MA he was the son of the late Siy and Anna (Kozak) Dominov. He in Cumberland for most of his life. Mr. Dominov was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. George was an outgoing, friendly and loving person who enjoyed being around family and children. He enjoyed cooking and feeding his friends and family at any family gatherings. He set an example of how to be a good, kind, honest and decent man. He was also a New England Patriots fan. He was a communicant of the Historic St. Joseph Church, Cumberland. In addition to his loving wife, he leave his children, Dr. Michael G. Dominov and his wife Dr. Rhonda Friedmann of Becket, MA, Janice A. Dominov and her husband A.L. “Larry” Frelinger of North Reading, MA, Regina M. Dominov of Sterling, CT, and Paul F. Dominov and his wife Paige of Unionville, CT; his sister, Ann Marie Beech-Iavarone of Swansea, MA; his six grandchildren, Erin, Patrick, Mary, Matthew, Grace and Molly; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Catherine Thomas, Emelia Sadler, Helen Ferreira, John Dominov, Jeanne Hodges and Mary Dominov. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to George’s Life Celebration to be held Monday, April 22, 2019 with Visiting Hours from 5 to 8 PM and continue on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Mt.
