Frances Caroline Smith, age 78 of Paris, TN, died, Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN. She retired after many years from Emerson Electric in Paris. Frances was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Paris. She loved her dog “Mandy”, her family, and her church family. She enjoyed yardwork and gardening. Frances was born June 22, 1940, to the late Wayne Redden and the late Clara Hill Redden. She was married in 1978 to Miller Smith, who preceded her in death on April 5, 2018. She is survived by three daughters, Cindy (Mateo) Palacious of Mexico, Fern Tess (Bobby) Robbins of Paris, TN, and Lynne (Scott) Bynum of Bryant, AL; one sister, Joan (Larry) Baker of Arizona; two brothers, James (Gloria) Redden of Versailes, KY, and Dalton (Dawn) Redden of Shelbyville, TN; her beloved fox wire terrier, Mandy; seven grandchildren, Jamie Flowers, Johnny Stacey, LaDonna Stephens Ward, Francee Stephens Armstrong, Clinton Stephens, Kayla Bynum Adcock, and Jill Bynum; and 11 great grandchildren. Arrangements will be handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Wednesday, May 1, 2019, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Glynn Orr officiating. Pallbearers will be Clinton Stephens, Elijah Armstrong, Dennis Campbell, Jason Ward, Alex Adcock, and Patrick Armstrong. Named as honorary pallbearers are Jerry Brogdon, Gaylon Morris, and Horace Whitehead. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, TN.
