Forrest “Buster” Johnson, Jr., 98, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on May 15, 1920, a son of the late Forrest Johnson, Sr. and Imo (Green) Johnson. Buster graduated from Center Ridge High School. He was married in Lebanon, Indiana, on April 8, 1939, to Norma Jean (Merchant) Johnson; she passed away on December 22, 2006. He was a milk hauler for dairy farmers and later worked for Strawmyer Gas & Electric, retiring in 1984. Buster never met a stranger and was a joy to be around. He loved to tell a good story and enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Graveside Services will follow visitation at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
