Tony Grossenburg officiating. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Prince of Peace Chapel of the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon, SD with a Rosary/Vigil service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Monday evening at 7 p.m. Burial with full military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD. He is survived by his sister, Esther (Bill) Nagel, Reeder, ND, sister-in-law, Bev Hoffman, Lemmon, SD, step-daughter, Vicki (Jeff) Glanzer, Rapid City, SD, and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Gene passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND.
