Eduardo’s Obituary Eduardo Barrera Hinojosa passed away on April 24, 2019 at the age of 72. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all whom loved him. Eduardo is survived by his wife, Sylvia Hinojosa; sons, Stephen (Leticia) Hinojosa, Daniel (Dolores) Hinojosa, and Lewis Hinojosa; daughters, Leonor (Ruben) Torrez and Andrea Hinojosa; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Ramon (Julia) Hinojosa, John (Mary) Hinojosa, Ismael (Angelica) Hinojosa, Reynaldo (Mary Ellen) Hinojosa, and Ricardo Hinojosa; sisters, Martina Salas and Mary (Manuel) Martinez. The family will receive condolences on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a prayer service to begin at 6:00 PM. A chapel service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 11:30 AM at Treviño Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral cortege will depart the chapel at 12:30 PM to Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery for a 1:00 PM interment with military honors. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Jonathan Hinojosa, Andrew Hinojosa, Richard Ortiz, Rudy Ortiz, Raul Ortiz, Michael Hinojosa, Gabriel Hinojosa, and Nathan Martinez.
