Mr. Earl W. Guill, age 84, of 196 Northwest Blvd, Danville, died at his residence on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. He was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on May 17, 1934 to the late Nathan Guill and Catherine Durham Guill. Earl served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed traveling (driving), fishing, walking trails and going to church. He was a member of First Evangelical Methodist Church. He was married to Nancy Guill who survives him of the home. In addition to his wife, Earl is survived by his son Daryl Guill (Beth) of Belleville, IL, and his sister, Kitty Brown (L.T. Eanes) of Danville. In addition to his parents, his was predeceased by his brothers, Bob Guill, Melvin Guill, and Charles Guill. Funeral services for Mr. Guill will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Barker Chapel one hour prior to the service. Barker Funeral Home is respectfully serving the Guill family.
