Dorothy Pauline Ramsey, 88, of 17654 Old Turnpike Rd., Millmont, for the past 66 years, entered into rest at 9:34 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at her home. She was born July 26, 1930, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Ira and Alice Aquilla (Walters) Gross. On March 27, 1953, she married Kenneth George Ramsey, Jr., who preceded her in death in 1985. Dorothy was a 1947 graduate of Laurelton High School. She was employed as an L.P.N. at the Laurelton Center, for many years. Dorothy and her husband owned and operated a grocery and produce store in Millmont. Dorothy enjoyed spending time at home and with her family. Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Harrison Ramsey of Millmont, and Jeffrey and Kala Ramsey of Lewisburg; one daughter, Jewel Ulrich of Millmont; four grandchildren, Linda, Rylee, Morgan, and Harrison Ramsey, Jr; and one great granddaughter, Jada Ramsey. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, at the Hartleton Cemetery, with Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating. Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
