Jerry Lamb officiating. Donald Lewis “Don” Harrison, Jr. was born February 25, 1964 in Lawton. He died Saturday, April 6, 2019 in Lawton at the age of 55. Don graduated high school in Leavenworth, Kansas. He was a plumber by trade and worked for a number of government contractors. Most recently he was employed as a building supervisor for two commercial buildings in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a member of the Choctaw Nation. Don is survived by his sister, Tammy Harrison; brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Shelly George; half-brother, Brandon Harrison; his father LTC (Retired) Michael S. George and his wife Cherie; nephew and nieces, Joshua Collins and wife Patricia, Tabitha Cochran and husband David, Kylee George and Leah George; three great nephews, Gavin and Anthony Harrison and Aidan Collins; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his step grandmother, Marjorie Watters. His mother, Beatrice Lynn “Bea” George, his biological father, Donald L. Harrison, Sr. and his grandparents preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
