Donald L. Norris, age 82, of Holmesville, Ohio passed away Tuesday morning, April 16, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice, Wooster, Ohio following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Jim Jamison officiating. Burial will take place at Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd, Wooster, Ohio 44691. Donald was born April 25, 1936 in Coshocton, Ohio and was the son of George and Myrtle (Stewart) Norris. He was a 1956 graduate of Clark High School. Donald married Bonnie Kays, they were together for 44 years. Donald formerly worked at Regal Ware, Mac Farc and retired from Gary Hipp Logging. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and he loved riding his John Deere mower. Surviving in addition to his wife, Bonnie are two sons, Donald Allen (Tina) Norris of and Jack Alan Norris both of Holmesville; two daughters, Brenda (Jerry) Hagy of Glenmont and Dawn Renee’ Adkins of Nashville; 8 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Bucklew of Nashville; a brother, Jim Norris of Dennison; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Norris; and a daughter, Heather Osborn.
