Obituary for Donald Joseph Carmouch Don Carmouche was born the sixth child of seven, four sisters and two brothers, on December 9, 1936 to the late Desoeleve and Eunice Vead Carmouche. After serving two years in the military, he returned home and met Betty Louise LaBorde at Charlie’s Café. They were married more than 60 years, during which they had two children—a daughter, Sonia and a son, Kyle. He was a good husband and father and he never missed his only grandson’s baseball games—Little League through college. He loved his cats, LSU and the Saints. Don was retired from Holsum Bakery after 37 years of employment. After studying the bible with Bro. Bryant, Don symbolized his dedication to Jehovah on September 13, 1969. He enjoyed visiting those in the nursing homes and sharing his hope of enjoying perfect health on a paradise earth. Despite health problems, Don remained regular in his ministry until his death. We look forward to seeing him again soon in paradise. Those left to cherish his memory and await his resurrection include his wife —Betty Carmouche; one daughter—Sonia Hennigan and her husband Steven; one son—Kyle Carmouche; one grandson, who was his pride and joy — Heath Hennigan and his wife Katy; one great-granddaughter—Millicent Ann Hennigan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
