Dillon James Muench 1990 – 2019 Dillon James Muench was a beloved father, dear brother, son and loyal friend. He passed away Friday April 19th, 2019 after a brave and difficult battle with cancer. Dillon was born in Orem, UT on November 21st, 1990 to Robert Howard Muench, Jr. and Pamela Rae Markland. He was adventurous and loved hiking and being outdoors. He also loved skateboarding and snowboarding, he spent many of his days practicing tricks at the skate park with his friends. His humor and smile could light up a room. He made fast friends easily and maintained lasting relationships. On December 19, 2014 Dillon married Samantha Muench and took in her two children as his own; Starley Linn Daughtry and Levi William Daughtry. Together they had two children of their own, Demitri Akai Muench, Malakai Hendrix Muench; to whom Dillon was a proud and dedicated father. His loving wife Sam remained dedicated and cared for Dillon until the end. He is survived by his wife Samantha Muench (Simkins), children Demitri Muench, Malakai Muench, Starley Daughtry and Levi Daughtry, his parents Robert Muench, Pamela Vacher, Joan Marzo; his aunt that he thought of as a mother and his step mother Chanel Hopkins, his siblings and their spouses; Breanna Hemple (Nathan Hemple), Amanda Ashby (Skyler Ashby), Riley Vacher, Soren Peterson, Preston Muench and Shyann Van Scoik; his cousin he thought of as a sister, his nephews Dovah and Salem Ashby, his grandparents Charlotte Muench, Eugene and Julie Markland. A celebration of Dillon’s life will be held on Sunday April 28, 2019 from 11 AM to 3 PM at Southworth Hall (116 W Center Street, Provo, UT 84601). Those that knew Dillon remember his love for tie-dye, those wishing to attend are encouraged casual wear and tie-dye in his memory.
