Miss Deloris Ann Boone, age 63 of Garysburg, NC, transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Signature Healthcare, Roanoke Rapids, NC. “Ann”, as she was affectionately called, was born June 18, 1955 in Northampton County, Seaboard, North Carolina, to the parentage of Josephine Mayo Boone and the late Theodore R. “Bro” Boone. Viewing will be Monday, April 15, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Cofield Mortuary. A Celebration Honoring the Life and Spirit of Miss Deloris Ann Boone will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. from The Sanctuary of Faithful Band Missionary Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill, NC with the Pastor, Rev. Gregory L. Evans, giving words of comfort. Miss Boone will lie in state at the church one hour (10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.) prior to the service and will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
