Delores Virginia Pringle January 8 1933 April 27 2019

Delores Virginia Pringle, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Born January 8, 1933 and raised in New York City to the late George Edward and Ruth Shorts Pringle. She graduated High School in the Bronx. In 1956, she received her BA degree in Sociology from West Virginia State College. She had no children of her own but loved working with children for 17 years at a child care center in the West Bronx. She was Executive Director of Hamilton Madison Settlement House and later Assistant Director of the Jamaica Day Care Center in St. Albans, NY. She moved to Danville around 1995 to care for her beloved parents of 358 Holbrook Street. She was a loving and faithful member of The Tabernacle; she leaves behind many church friends, close friends and care givers at Roman Eagle and SOVAH. Funeral Services will be conducted at Wrenn-Yeatts on North Main Street on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Danny Campbell and Pastor Joey Bray will be officiating. A private interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is respectfully serving the Pringle family.
