David Wayne Ketchum 2019

David Wayne Ketchum, age 67, of Pearcy, died Saturday, April 27, 2019. He was born on February 4, 1952, in Hot Springs, the son of Chester Ketchum and Emajean Thomason Ketchum. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Billy Ketchum; and one sister, Debbie Shappy. David worked for over 20 years for the Lake Hamilton School District and he was an avid hunter. He is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Darrell (Charlene) Ketchum, Sr. and Jerry Ketchum, all of Pearcy and Ricky (Gayle) Ketchum of Jessieville; one sister and two brothers-in-law, Pat (John) Edington and Steven Shappy, all of Pearcy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 3, 2019 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Chaplain Robert Gooding officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time on Friday. Pallbearers will be Darrell Ketchum, Jr., Cody Fear, Jimmy Caldwell, Bo Butterbredt, Lyn Price and Richard Thacker. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Shappy, Jr., John Edington and Tyler Hampton. The family will be at 4170 Airport Road in Pearcy. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
