He was born on January 4, 1959 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Ronald and Shirley Smith Berringer. He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians. David will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren. David is survived by his children, Melissa L. Hormuzdi (Cyrus) and David M. Berringer (Jenice); his grandchildren, Austin, Joey, Ashley, JJ, Jillian and Chelsea; his mother, Shirley; his siblings, Darlene, Danny, Donald, Dana, Ronald and Joseph and many aunts.
