Coryne’s Obituary Wilma Coryne Staton, of Chickasha, OK, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 87. She was born July 11, 1931 in Arkansas to George Wigley and Nora (Adams) Wulf. Mrs. Staton married Bill T. Staton and he preceded her in death on February 18, 1990. She had lived in the Chickasha for many years working at the Washita Theater, Tindel’s Jewelry and was a caregiver for Helping Hands in Chickasha. She was a 23 year member of Ninnekah Church of Christ and a volunteer at Southwest School teaching children to read. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Norah Ruth Carter; grandson-in-law, Stephen Owens; great grandson, Nicholas Owens; and sisters, Yvonne and Virginia.Mrs. Staton is survived by her daughter: Carol Niles and her husband, John; 3 grandchildren: Erik Day and his wife, Sabrina; Lori Owens-Miller and her husband, Joseph; and Rachel Mack and her husband, Mark; 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
