Conrad F. Borra, 91, of Wells, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Wells Nursing Home with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 6, 1927 in the Bronx, a son of the late Louis and Antoinette Termini Borra. Conrad attended New York City Schools and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed for many years at General Electric in Schenectady. Mr. Borra later traveled all over the country as a Mill Rite, building gas turbines until his retirement in 1985. Conrad loved flying Radio Control Airplanes and belonged to several clubs. He is survived by his second wife Eleanor Relyea Borra; two sons Keith Borra of Montana and Dean Borra (Victoria) of Massachusetts, one daughter Avis Warner (Greg) of Wells; two stepdaughters Terry Palmatier and Debbie DeLeury (Larry); three grandchildren Jennifer Mattice (Joe), Nick Borra and Jarod Borra; two great grandchildren Kenneth Chicoski, Jr. (Stacy) and Tayler Chicoski (Samantha); three great great grandchildren Elianna Chicoski, Cole Chicoski and Mason Chicoski and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Borra was predeceased by his first wife Runey Morris Borra Gasbara and his one brother Paul Borra. There will be no calling hours. Cremation was at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.
