Obituary of Charles S. Watson Mr. Charles S. Watson, Jr., 90, of Crouse Boulevard, St. Johnsville, New York passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at his home, with his loving wife and family by his side. Born on July 13, 1928 in the Town of Florida, NY, he was the son of Charles S. Watson, Sr. and Mabel Francis Utter Watson. Mr. Watson was a local Dairy Farmer, owning farms in the Mohawk Valley throughout his career. His life was dairy farming and his family. On February 26, 1948, Charles was married to Nellie Aber. Together they celebrated over 70 years of marriage. His brother, Walter Watson predeceased him. Mr. Watson is survived by his wife, Nellie Watson of St. Johnsville, NY; children, Charles S. Watson, III and Kathleen of Selina, OH, Roy E. Watson and Traute of Dolgeville, NY, Shirley M. Glezen and Greg of Cortland, NY, Sally A. Hazzard and David of St. Johnsville, NY, Mabel F. Ehrenreich and Bill of Fort Plain, NY; sisters, Florence Conklin, Lois Ford, Evelyn Ford, all of Westtown, NY; grandchildren,Cheryl Schiemer, Cathy Zanella, Karen Travins, Tammy Taylor, Lisa Ehrenreich, Michele Jones, Carla Flanigan, Carl Watson, Charles Watson, Arlena Biechy, Christina Bunker, Eric Watson, Wesley Watson; 28 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2:00PM at The Chapel of Gray-Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 1:00-2:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Fort Plain Cemetery.
