Irondequoit: Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his wife Ellen; sisters, Shirley Wagner, Jean Raetz, and Carol Raetz. Survived by his children, Christopher (Terri), Jon (Kelly), Jeffrey (Lisa), Robin (Mark) Roach and Jennifer (Coleman) Griffin; grandchildren, Joshua, Martina, Cooper, Steven, Charles, Coleman, Olivia, Sophia, Emmet, Roan and Declan; niece and nephews, Dan, Pat, Jim and Joanne Wagner. Charles was a retired CPA and adjunct Professor at MCC. He was a Polio survivor for 75 years who showed unparalleled strength during his illness. Dad was our angel on earth. Friends are welcome Friday 4-7pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 11am in the chapel of St. Ann’s Home 1500 Portland Ave. Interment to follow at Webster Union Cemetery.
