Carolyn’s Obituary Carolyn LaChance, 74, of Park Hills, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Presbyterian Manor Nursing Home. She was born on Friday, October 13, 1944 to the late Earl James and Lois Inis (Spain) Griffin in Saco. She was a member of Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church in Park Hills. She owned and operated Carolyn’s Tax Service for over 26 years. In her spare time she enjoyed puzzles, reading, Garfield the Cat and traveling to Branson. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 53 years, John LaChance and a brother, James Griffin. Carolyn is survived by two sons, Larry W. LaChance and wife Jodi, Tim W. LaChance and wife Kelly; grandchildren, Brittany LaChance, Brittney Shelton and husband Mitch, Rebecca LaChance, Amanda LaChance, Melissa Strickland and husband Brad, Dakota LaChance, Morgan LaChance Angela Olsen and David Gosney; four great-grandchildren, Raegan, Kaitlyn, Mason and Olivia and her beloved dog Susie. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge. Visitation will resume on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 9:00 AM until Service time of 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Pastor Curt Gwartney and Brother Cody Alley officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington. Memorials can be made to Presbyterian Manor Nursing Home in Farmington, MO. Read More
