Carole Ann Chiesa February 22, 1941 – April 20, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Carole Ann Chiesa, age 78, of Yale passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 22, 1941 in Lansing to the late William and Margaret (Kelly) Mills. Carole graduated from Holt High School in Lansing with the Class of 1959 then attended college for two years receiving a Cosmetology Degree. She married Alan F. Chiesa on June 23, 1962 in Lansing. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1994. Carole was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yale. She enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking and baking. Carole is survived by her son, Daniel (Jodi) Chiesa; three daughters, Sheri (John) Reusser, Maria (Jeff) Edgerton and Beth (Glenn) Morris; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Reusser (Mandy), Christopher Reusser (Donyele), Josh Chiesa (Samantha), Sierra Wendland (Nathan), Brooke and Savanah Edgerton and Teighlor, Allie, and Collin Morris; three great grandchildren, Cade Reusser, Blake Reusser and Kaeden Morris; her brother, Jim (Cheryl) Mills; brother in law, Richard (Barbara) Chiesa; several nieces and nephews; and a cousin, Janet Galloway. Carole was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Mills; her sister, Joanne Mills; and her father and mother in law, Francis and Alice Chiesa. Visitation will be from 2 – 8 PM Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Cole United Methodist Church, 7015 Carson Road, Yale. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 310 North Main St., Yale with Father H. Thomas Kuehnemund officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Yale. Pallbearers will be Daniel Chiesa, Joshua Chiesa, James Mills, John Reusser, Christopher Reusser, Glenn Morris, Jeff Edgerton, Jeremy Reusser, Jason Mills, Richard Chiesa and Dave VanDenberghe.
