Obituary for Carol Carpenter (McNally) Carol McNally Carpenter, 77, of Spring Hill, FL and formerly of Jeffersonville, VT died on January 1, 2017 following a brief illness. Born May 20, 1939 in Burlington, VT, she is predeceased by her parents Everett and Hallie McNally, her husband of 55 years Edward ‘Sonny’ Carpenter and an infant daughter Kathy-Jean. Carol attended Cambridge High School and received an associate’s degree in business from Vermont Community College. Later she became a respected artist and owned and operated the Milk Frame Gallery in Jeffersonville. She was an energetic woman who lived a life full of travel, sports, family, volunteering and time spent with her many friends. She will be missed by her son Michael and wife Donna of Redding, CT; daughter Robin Travers and husband Bob of Wilton, CT and her five grandchildren Lindsay, Alexander, Emily, Anna and Andrew. She also leaves three brothers Terry (Naida), Gary (Sharon), Jack (Brenda) and a sister Janie Fannon (Patrick). Funeral services will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Spring Hill, FL. A celebration of life wlll be held on Saturday May 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Second Congregation United Church of Christ in Jeffersonville. Burial will follow in in the family lot in Jeffersonville Village Cemetery.
