Obituary for Carolajo “Carola” Kleinow (Thomas) Carolajo Kleinow (Thomas), “Carola” 1946-2019, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21st, 2019. Carol was a lifelong resident of Mays Landing. A 1964 graduate of Oakcrest, she worked for many attorneys in the local area. Carol also coached girls’ softball for MLAA over the years. Her quick and funny sense of humor will be missed by many. She is survived by ex-husband and lifelong friend Lewis Kleinow, Sr.; daughter Barbara Montalvo (Kleinow); son Lewis Kleinow, Jr.; brothers: Melvin, Richard, and Dennis Thomas; grandchildren: Kaitlyn Montalvo, Brooke Montalvo, Lewis Kleinow III, Isabella Kleinow, Melissa Kleinow, and Grayson Kleinow; nieces and nephews: Melvin Thomas, Jr., Stephanie, Jennifer, Christopher, and Samantha Thomas. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Thursday, April 25th from 1-4 PM at Merrill’s Colonial Inn, 1309 Blvd. Route 50, Mays Landing.
