Carol Laughton, 65, of Waukegan, passed away on April 10, 2019. Carol was born March 21, 1954 to Joseph and Dolores Madura (nee Dolence). She was a lifelong Waukegan area resident. Carol was the foundation of her family; a good wife, mother and grandma. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Patrick Laughton; children Staci (Victor) Valdez and Jason (Shiny) Laughton; grandchildren Crystal, Cory, Destiny and Tatyana; her sister Lorraine (Gene) Backys of Waukegan and brother Larry (Cheryl) Madura of Zion; extended family and many friends. She is preceded in death by both parents. A memorial service will be held from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington St. Waukegan, IL 60085.
