Carmella’s Obituary Carmella DeMarcantonio, 98, of Easton, PA, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 in The Easton Home, Easton, PA. Prior to returning to Easton she lived in Florida for 26 years. Carmella was born in Reading, PA, a daughter of the late Jerome and Mary (Damato) Marcellino. Carmella was married to Albert DeMarcantonio until his passing in 2006. She was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1938. With her love for fashion, Carmella was a lady’s sportswear buyer for the former William Laubach and Sons. With her late husband Albert, they owned the following businesses: Triangle Cleaners, in Wilson; Dee’s Cleaners, in Phillipsburg and Florida; Walters Cleaners in Nazareth; Dee’s Apparel – Shop in Nazareth and Suburban Cleaners in Palmer Twp,. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, and the Senior Circle. Carmella is survived by a brother Michael Marcellino and wife Barbara of Tamarac, FL; Nieces: Ada McCluskey (Caregiver), Joyce Mitchell wife of Michael (Caregiver); Danette Gerbino wife of George (Caregiver); Sherry Ryan wife of Thomas. Nephews: George Gerbino husband of Danette (Caregiver); John Viscomi husband of Elaine, Frank Viscomi husband of Janet; James Viscomi and Michael Marcellino husband of Sue. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters Angelina Gerbino, Catherine Viscomi and brother Joseph Marcellino. A calling hour will be held on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30a.m. in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
