Billy Garrett Barnes June 10, 1946 – April 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Billy Garrett Barnes, age 72, was born June 10, 1946 and died April 24, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired salesman with Volunteer Hose & Gasket in Nashville, TN and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late H.B. and Jessie Thompson Barnes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Steve Barnes. He is survived by cousins, Faye and Curtis Brown and family and Dicky and Janice Gilispie and family. Mr. Barnes loved motorcycle racing, and was an excellent photographer and an avid outdoorsman. He made many tours across the United States on his motorcycle.
