Beverly A. Ellerbruck, age 78, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 6:48 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Linda E. White Hospice House. Beverly was born September 16, 1940, in Gibson County, IN, to Alfred Thompson, Sr. and Gladys (Hurst) Thompson. She graduated from Winslow High School in 1958. Beverly was a member of Central United Methodist Church over 50 years and a member of 4 C’ers Sunday School Class. Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Virgil Ellerbruck; daughters, Julie VonHor of Evansville, IN and Tammy Kempf (Dave) of Newburgh, IN; sister, Eva “Eve” Williams (Bob); brother, Alfred Thompson, Jr. (Vera); grandchildren, Chelsea (Taylor), Jennifer (Troy), and Sean (Glenda); and 5 great grandchildren with a great grandson on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Maurice, Gary, Edsel, and Robert Thompson. Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Dewey Miller officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Central United Methodist Church at 300 Mary Street, Evansville, IN 47710. Condolences may be made to the family online at boonefuneralhome.net
