Betty Sue Brannon Jackson, age 67 of Puryear, TN, died Monday April 15, 2019, at her residence in Puryear, TN. She was a homemaker and caregiver. She was a member of Puryear Baptist Church. Betty Sue was born October 24, 1951, in Ft. Bragg, NC, to the late James Thomas Brannon and the late Eva Jean Prather Brannon. She is survived by one daughter, Angela “Angie” Jackson (Keith) Barfoot of West Monroe, LA; one son, Kevin Jackson and fiancée Marta Gault of Murray, KY; two brothers, Johnny Brannon of Albuquerque, NM, and Larry (Caroline) Brannon of Puryear, TN; four grandchildren, Ross Jackson, Cameron (Madison) Barfoot, Rainey Barfoot, and Caroline Barfoot; and one great grandchild, Thomas Alexander Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Gloria Brannon Griffin. Arrangements will be handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242. The body is to be cremated. A graveside memorial service will be Friday, April 19, 2019, at 11:00 am at Puryear City Cemetery in Puryear, TN, with Chad Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow the graveside service in Puryear City Cemetery.
