Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Northwest Church of Christ with Monte Ginnings, Minister of Oak Street Church of Christ, Apache, Oklahoma and Garrett Bookout, Minister of Northwest Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. There will be viewing Sunday and Monday at the funeral home. Barbara Louise Lee, age 96, Lawton, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 in Lawton. She was born February 13, 1923 in Dallas, Texas to James E. and Lois Estelle (Hardy) Adams. Barbara graduated from Cache High School and later married Dan T. Lee on June 24, 1942 in Cache. They were married for 50 years and 4 months before Dan’s passing on October 19, 1992. She was a homemaker until their three children, Nancy, Danny and David graduated from high school. She then worked for several years at the Meadors Department Store in retail sales. She was very active in church activities especially helping new military families get settled in the church and community. She was an excellent cook and homemaker and was a kind and caring person. She was also extremely proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Danny Lee and family of Little Rock, Arkansas and David Lee and family of Lawton, a brother, Gary Adams and family of Dallas, Texas, a sister, Joann Adams of Lawton, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great grandchild, a special sister-in-law, Leona Adams and family of Lawton and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Nancy (Lee) Hodson, brother, Jimmy Adams, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Daniel and Mattie Lou Lee.
