Barbara’s Obituary Barbara Kempski Otey, 62, of Mardela Springs, departed this life on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Francis R. Kempski and Ruth V. Thomas Nichols. Ms. Otey was a self-employed cosmetologist. She will be lovingly remembered by: a son, Thomas E. Timlin III; two daughters, Alisha Annmarie Ellis (John A., Jr.) and Heather Ashley Timlin (Christopher Warren Manger); six sisters, Rebecca Capano (Mario), Delores Manista (James), Theresa Silva (Angel), Maria Kempski, Virginia Hobson, and Sandra Perez (Orlando); four grandchildren, John A. Ellis III, Jaden A. Ellis, Dylan Thomas Ellis, and Seth Edward Manger; a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Karessa Ashley Nicole Kline. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019, at 2 PM at James M. Bennett High School, 300 East College Avenue, Salisbury. Pastor Bryan Lloyd will officiate. Disposition will be private. Read More
