Barbara A. Gill, 86, of Mia Court, Warwick, RI, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Alpine Nursing Home, Coventry, RI. Born on March 26, 1933 in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Catherine (Walsh) Williams. Barbara worked in retail for Douglas Drug Store. She was very entertaining, an avid reader and a lifelong resident of Coventry, RI. Barbara is survived by three children; Maureen Holmes and her husband Bill, Donald T. Gill and Joseph P. Gill, two sisters; Helen Dauplaise and Elizabeth Kerrigan, six grand children, eight great grand children and a sister in law; June Williams. She was predeceased by a daughter; Barbara Jean Satterley, a brother; John Williams and a sister; Kathryn Ide. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10:00 am in the St. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich, RI. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to a random act of kindness.
