Mr. Tharp is survived by his daughter, Vickie (Brad) Mills of Cordova, TN, two grandchildren, Jimmy (Whitney) Mills and Emily (West) Pearson, and one brother, Jerry Tharp. He also is survived by 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Tharp, his sons, Steven Tharp and Ricky Tharp, and his parents, Edd and Lula Pearl Tharp.
